Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda grew up within her native San Francisco Bay area, California, the youngest of four kids. She became interested in acting as a ten year old, after she was a singer in a school Christmas play. She continued to do school shows and also community theater. Linda attended Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. Her choice was among New York for theater and Los Angeles for film and TV after graduating. When she graduated, she had to make a decision on whether to pursue film and television in Los Angeles. Linda was chosen for her first role, in the show Bone Chillers (1996). Freaks and Geeks, 1999 was her most memorable role. She played academic decathlete Lindsay Weir on the celebrated series, which won an Emmy Award in the Category of Outstanding Casting in the Comedy Series

Lily James (born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson on 5 April 1989) is an English actress from the UK. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career with the British TV show Just William (2010). After her successful performance as Lady Rose MacClare on the period drama Downton Abbey between 2012 and 2015 her debut role was in the movie fantasy Cinderella in the year 2015. James was then cast as The Countess Natasha Rostova on the TV adaptation of War & Peace in 2016. In addition, she has starred in a variety of films, including Baby Driver (2017) and period dramas Darkest Hour (2017) and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society 2018 and The Dig 2021, as in the musicals Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) and Yesterday (2019). In 2022, her performance as Pamela Anderson was recognized with the Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
